Dr. Pradeep S.

Dr. Pradeep S., Principal of DC School of Management and Technology (DCSMAT), Vagamon, is a distinguished academician and institutional leader with over 30 years of professional experience, including 24 years in academics and 8 years in the retail banking sector. He holds a Ph.D. in Management, M.Phil., MBA, and PGDTRM.

His academic career spans reputed institutions including Citibank, ICFAI, S.B. College, and DCSMAT. He has made notable contributions to management education, curriculum development, research, and academic leadership. He has served as General Convener of the M.G. University Syllabus Revision Committee on three occasions and led the drafting of the University’s 2024 MBA Regulations, contributing to the development and refinement of multiple MBA courses.

His doctoral research on product development and marketing strategies in the Carnatic music industry was an early exploratory study of the Indian music industry and received recognition in academic and industry circles. He has presented and published research at national and international forums and has developed case-based learning resources for management education.

Dr. Pradeep has also spearheaded academic and international collaborations, including partnerships with universities in Malaysia, and has coordinated international immersion programmes.
